Yesterday, I made the drive to the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire to drop my son off at summer camp near Ossipee. Like many parents, I had mixed emotions—excited for him, a little nostalgic for me, and suddenly finding myself with a few unexpected hours before heading home.
Of course, my mind immediately went to one thing: "Where can I find some golf content?"
As the Founder of Teebox Media, I'm always looking for interesting golf courses, great people, and authentic stories to share with the golf community. Sometimes the best discoveries happen when you aren't looking for them at all.
That's exactly what happened when I stumbled upon Indian Mound Golf Club in Center Ossipee, New Hampshire.
Located just off Route 16B, Indian Mound is one of those golf courses that immediately feels welcoming. No pretension. No pressure. Just a fun, enjoyable golf experience surrounded by the natural beauty that makes New Hampshire such a special place. The course features 18 holes designed by Phil Wogan, with a relatively flat front nine and gently rolling terrain on the back nine that keeps things interesting for golfers of all skill levels.
What impressed me most wasn't just the golf course itself—it was the atmosphere.
You can tell this is the type of place where friendships are made, stories are shared, and golfers genuinely enjoy spending time together. It's the kind of golf course that reminds us why we fell in love with the game in the first place.
As I walked around capturing photos and videos for future Teebox Media content, I couldn't help but think about how many incredible golf stories are waiting to be discovered at courses like this all across America.
Golf isn't just about scorecards and swing mechanics.
It's about people.
It's about community.
It's about the conversations that happen before the round, after the round, and sometimes right in the middle of it.

Final Thoughts
One of the things I've learned while building Teebox Media is that some of the best golf content isn't planned.
Sometimes it's simply the result of taking a different road, stopping at a golf course you've never seen before, introducing yourself to a few people, and being open to whatever happens next.
Yesterday started with dropping my son off at camp.
It ended with discovering a golf course I'll remember for a long time.
And that's one of the many reasons I love this game.
